today i walked to work
i thought i'd get whipped around by the wind if i rode my bike,
so i wrapped myself up in several layers, strapped on my warm water-resistant boots
and walked to work. it was more enjoyable than i thought it'd be. even without an umbrella.
it reminded me of being a kid and walking to the bus stop in my yellow rubber raincoat.
i didn't have an umbrella then either. boy-kids didn't carry umbrellas.
only girl-kids did that.
i even left home early
so i could stomp in some puddles!
